Bianca Andreescu keeps on rising faster and faster. The Canadian sensation won the Rogers Cup, not in the way she wanted after Serena Williams withdrew in the final when she was 1-3 down. However, that doesn’t take anything away from the 19-year-old that won the second most important title of her young career after she conquered Indian Wells earlier in the year.

After Serena’s retirement, Bianca is projected to be ranked no.14 on Monday and even more interesting, she is projected to be no.8 in the year to date rankings. This means that Bianca has a concrete opportunity to qualify for the WTA Finals.
