Andy Murray has no problems in reaching the 4th round in Melbourne after dismissing Sam Querrey 6-4 6-2 6-4.
The Brit had only one little amnesia in the 4th game of the 3rd set when he finally conceded a service game, but besides that, everything was smooth for the entire afternoon.
No problem with the ankle
Andy was a bit worried at the beginning as he was grappling with a sore ankle after he fell in the previous match against Andrey Rublev. Fortunately, everything was fine.
“I felt better and better as the match went on in terms of my movement. I was maybe a little bit hesitant at the beginning because it was just a little bit sore, but I was moving well at the end, so it was very positive.”
Next vs. Mischa Zverev
Andy will face Mischa Zverev in the 4th round. Murray leads the German 1-0 as he beat him 6-2 6-2 in the second round of Hamburg 2015. The Brit is the overwhelming favorite to reach the quarters, but probably this is not going to be very easy because Mischa is playing the best tennis of his career right now.
