Deaf player 1 step from qualifying to the Australian Open

18-year-old Lee Duck-hee from South Korea is about to make history. Lee has won the first two qualifying rounds of the Australian Open, and he is about to face Alexander Bublik for a place in the main draw.

The South Korean is poised to have a great career since he has won already 8 ITF titles and, ranked no. 148, he should break in the top100 starting from this year. Apparently, Lee can sense vibrations, but he must rely on hand gestures to pick up line calls.

This guy could be a great inspiration for his generation and people dealing with deafness.

You can achieve greatness even if you do not win 17 slams. Well done!
