As part of its initiatives to promote padel throughout the nation, the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has revealed intentions to construct three padel centers in significant cities. Players and fans would have easier access to the new facilities, which will be situated in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.

In Pakistan, padel has been becoming more and more popular, especially in cities where private courts have already been set up. However, participation in the sport is still limited due to its relatively high cost. By establishing courts at the National Coaching Centre in Karachi, the Jinnah Sports Complex in Islamabad, and the National Coaching Centre in Lahore, the PSB hopes to increase access to padel.

The project is a component of a larger initiative to upgrade Pakistan’s sporting facilities. Funding for other developments, like a new tartan track and more seats at the National Coaching Centre in Karachi, is anticipated to be included in the future 2025–2026 government budget.

The PSB thinks that these achievements would boost Pakistan’s participation in padel and inspire more people to take up the sport. Growth at all levels will be promoted by the new facilities, which will offer chances for both leisure and competitive athletes.
