Murray signs a petition against Vietnam

Andy Murray is not happy to be “just” the world no.1; Andy wants to help the community.

The British champion is a global ambassador for the WWF, and he decided to endorse a petition against Vietnam for its illegal wildlife trade.

Why Andy is upset with Vietnam

Vietnam is considered a key player in the trade and consumption of product such as scaly anteater, tiger skin, and ivory. Apparently, Vietnam represents the largest market for rhino horn.

Andy disapproves this practices to comment

“I have just signed the WWF petition to urge Vietnam to end its illegal trade in wildlife products. Some of the world’s most beautiful species are threatened by this horrendous crime, from tigers to pangolins to elephants to rhinos. It’s up to each one of us to do our part and take a stand against it, so I encourage everyone to sign this petition.”
