Sara Errani is the Queen of minor tournaments. This is a very good strategy for the 25 years old that is getting the momentum to be prepared for bigger stages.
Seeded nr.1, Sara had a fine tournament to lose only one set in the second match.
Yesterday it was a tough match for the Italian that had to fight back a 1-4 deficit in the opener. Then her superior tennis allow her to win 4 stright games and then the set.
In the second set, Sara had a comfortable 5-2 lead to suffer from a comeback from Vesnina that was 1 point to draw level. Errani regrouped and won the set 6-4.
This is her 3rd title in 2012 (after Acapulco and Barcelona).
