Nick Kyrgios defeated world no.29 Sam Querrey in his Shanghai opener, but apparently that was too easy for him. Even if the Australian looked a bit off at times, he still managed to win 6-4 6-4 in just 53 minutes.

During the post-match interview, Kyrgios came out with the weirdest comment to say
“I was just a bit bored at times. I was feeling very tired. It was just tough. I’m just tired so maybe I just wanted to get the job done. I didn’t have the greatest sleep last night and obviously got in late the day before. The ride to the courts isn’t great either.”
Next vs. Misha Zverev
Kyrgios will play for the first time in is career Misha Zverev in the second round. Let’s hope he won’t fall asleep.
