Kyrgios refuses to shake umpire’s hand

Nick Kyrgios starts his US Open campaign, Kyrgios’ style.

In the first round against Bedene, the Australian managed to fight with the chair umpire in the opening game after receiving a code violation for hitting a ball in anger too close to a linesman.

Still upset for the episode, after winning the match 6-4 6-4 6-4, Kyrgios refused the handshake with the umpire; Nick told him:” “You have one job to do, bro. Unbelievable.”

Disrespecting a linesman

After that, in the second set, Kyrgios ran into a linesman to drop an f-bomb

“He’s standing there, why does he not f—ing move?” Kyrgios commented. “He knows I’m running; he just stands there. That’s why you can’t have guys [aged] 80-plus being umpires.”

Next vs. Zeballos

Nick will play Zeballos in the next round for the first time. Expect more antics.
