Emma Raducanu has enlisted renowned fitness trainer Yutaka Nakamura, previously associated with Maria Sharapova and Naomi Osaka, for the 2025 tennis season. The British star aims to enhance her athleticism and build resilience after injury setbacks since her 2021 US Open triumph.
Raducanu believes Nakamura’s expertise will unlock her full athletic potential, working closely with him and coach Nick Cavaday. Their integrated approach promises to strengthen Raducanu’s game as she eyes a return to form.
Currently ranked 59th, Raducanu plans an active start to the season, competing in Auckland and Adelaide ahead of the Australian Open. Confident in her fitness, she is eager to translate training progress into match success.
