Casper Ruud has raised doubts about the reported endorsement earnings of Emma Raducanu, which allegedly exceed those of high-profile athletes Caitlin Clark and Simone Biles. According to Sportico, Raducanu earned £10.97 million in the past year, largely from deals with Nike, Dior, Porsche, and other major brands, compared to Clark and Biles, who reportedly earned £8.62 million each.
Ruud, responding to a fan on social media, questioned the accuracy of these figures, noting that only the player and their agent would have access to such details. He suggested the estimates are speculative and should be labeled as such, rather than presented as definitive.
Raducanu, who holds an estimated personal net worth of £10 million, has faced criticism over whether her focus on commercial activities has detracted from her performance on the court. Addressing these claims earlier this year, she stressed her commitment to training, pointing out that the hours of effort she invests behind the scenes often go unnoticed, while public attention tends to focus on her rare appearances at events or photo shoots.
Despite ongoing challenges in her tennis career, Raducanu remains a sought-after figure in the commercial world, underscoring her enduring marketability and global appeal.
