On Friday, Jannik Sinner took a day off before playing in the ATP Finals semifinal on Saturday. On his day off, the Italian played soccer with his brother Marc, father Hanspeter, and his team.
At the 2024 ATP Finals in Turin, Sinner won all three of his Round Robin matches in straight sets. As the Ilie Nastase Group topper, he defeated Taylor Fritz 6-4, 6-4, Alex de Minaur 6-3, 6-4, and Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the semifinals.
Sinner had a day off on Friday as the John Newcombe Group, which included Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz, competed for the two semifinal spots. He was seen at the Circolo della Stampa playing soccer with his family and team.
Having his family in Turin for the year-end championships has been enjoyable for Sinner. They attended his trophy presentation for the year-end world No. 1 ranking and were seen cheering him on in the stands.
