Roger Federer is confirmed to play in Cincinnati. The Swiss legend has won the tournament seven times, and he is bidding for his 8th title. The announcement came with the disclosure players’ entry list that includes all the top 43 players in the ATP rankings.

Tournament director, Andre Silva, commented “We’re excited to welcome this world class player field to Cincinnati for the Western & Southern Open in August. While we pride ourselves on having a great event full of food, drink and entertainment options, it’s the incredible talent and competition provided by these stars of the WTA and ATP World Tour that the fans expect each year.”
The defending champion is Federer that has defeated Djokovic in last year’s final.
