Continuing her incredible winning streak, Coco Gauff is off to a great start in her Wuhan Open 2024 campaign. The American star has quickly turned her attention to the Wuhan Open 2024 and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down after her recent success at the China Open, where she defeated Karolina Muchova to win her second WTA 1000 title.

At the Wuhan Open, Gauff easily defeated Marta Kostyuk 6-4 6-1 to win her eighth straight match. After winning in Beijing the previous week, Gauff completed the task on Thursday in just 61 minutes. In light of her strategy, she revealed that she saw the Wuhan Open 2024 and the China Open as practice grounds, which has enabled her to keep her form preserved.

After her recent win, Gauff shared a touching note for the people of Florida. She said in her post-match interview: “I am thinking a lot about those in central and west coast of Florida. I posted some shelters on my Twitter and Instagram for people to go to, all types of shelters, pets, those with special needs and everything.”

On Thursday, Hurricane Milton made its way across Florida, unleashing deadly tornadoes, demolishing homes, and cutting off power to over 3 million people. With top sustained winds of 120 mph, the storm made landfall on Florida’s west coast on Wednesday night as a Category 3 hurricane according to the five-step Saffir-Simpson scale.
