Former Spanish tennis player Garbine Muguruza recently tied the knot in a private ceremony with Arthur Borges. The former French Open champion has been dating Borges since 2021.
The Spaniard announced her retirement in April of this year. She last participated in the competition at the Open 6e Sens Métropole de Lyon more than a year ago.
Her partner, Borges, is a successful businessman and professional model who has experience working with well-known companies like Hugo Boss. Additionally, he works at Tom Ford as the Director of Made to Measure North America.
At the La Concepción estate in Marbella, Spain, the couple exchanged vows in a small ceremony almost a year after becoming engaged. Neither, though, has posted any ceremony pictures online.
A fan posted a picture of Muguruza smiling while spending a touching moment with her loved ones in an exquisite white wedding gown.
Garbiñe Muguruza and Arthur Borges are officially married.
3 years after they met in Central Park when Garbiñe was competing at the US Open, they’ve tied the knot.
