Dominic Thiem beats his dear friend Alexander Zverev for the 3rd consecutive time in 1 month. The Austrian defeated Sasha in the Munich semifinal, in the final in Nice, and now in the 3rd round in Paris.
After losing the opener in the tiebreak, Dominic was always in full control during the rest of the match to concede his serve just once and break Zverev 4 times.
Thiem. The difference was just three years of age
After the match, Dominic conceded that the only difference was the experience “I knew already before the match that it was going to be a very tough one against such a great player like Sasha. I think the little difference today was probably the three years’ age difference.”
