While Sinner, now World No.1, opted for a laid-back celebration with hamburgers and french fries, Sabalenka went into full party mode, enjoying drinks and good food with her team.
“I’m a bit cheaper, I guess,” Sinner quipped during an interview, drawing laughter from Sabalenka. He added, “I love food… hamburgers, french fries.” Sabalenka, meanwhile, humorously admitted her celebration involved “a lot of margaritas.”
Both players faced significant challenges throughout the 2024 season, with Sinner overcoming tonsillitis and a doping scandal, and Sabalenka battling injuries and personal loss. Despite these setbacks, they ended the year on a high, capturing two of the toughest Grand Slams.
