Jannik Sinner’s girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya was spotted in his box on September 4, during the Italian’s 2024 US Open quarterfinal matchup against Daniil Medvedev.
Though Kalinskaya lost in the third round of the women’s singles competition, it seems that she remained in New York to support Sinner in his journey for a first-ever US Open victory.
Sinner entered the US Open under controversial circumstances. It became known that the Italian had tested positive for a prohibited substance back in March, just days before the hard-court Major was set to begin. But the current Australian Open champion was cleared to play after an independent tribunal’s investigation.
During his quarterfinal matchup with Daniil Medvedev, Kalinskaya was caught on camera encouraging the Italian player from his box. Sinner disclosed his romantic relationship with Kalinskaya during the French Open earlier this year.
