Monfils will not play the French Open for viral infection

Gael Monfils joins a list of important players that are not playing the Roland Garros this year. After Federer, Del Potro, Sharapova, and Wozniacki, also Gael won’t participate in the French Open.

Gael reached the 4th round last year in Paris before losing to Federer in 4 sets. 

It’s the organization that has announced the retirement on Twitter saying that the cause was a viral infection. That’s bad!
