Federer will play in Madrid

Good news for Federer’s fan as Roger has finally decided to compete in Madrid. Roger had to undergo an operation on his knee soon after the Australian Open and he had a “decent” comeback in Monte-Carlo where he reached the quarters.

Roger said that he would have taken some time before deciding if he wanted to play in Madrid and Rome, but eventually he decided to compete in Spain.

Roger has won the ATP1000 in Madrid on 3 different surfaces in 2006 (greenset), 2009 (red clay) and 2012 (blue clay).
