Having taken home the runner-up trophy at Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic is enjoying a spectacular season despite not having yet won a title.

Djokovic Lays Down On The Court

Novak Djokovic is having a tremendous season despite not having won a title yet, having taken home the runners-up trophy at Wimbledon. Djokovic advanced to the Olympic finals in Paris after sweeping Lorenzo Musetti 6-4, 6-2 in straight sets. For those who don’t know, the Serb is participating in the Olympic finals for the first time in his career. And he cannot control to express his feelings.

Djokovic was seen crying as he fell to the ground shortly after winning the match. Not only was the Serbian maestro overcome with emotion at that moment, but so were all of his fans who wanted to see him triumph in what would likely be his last Olympics.

It is very unlikely that the 37-year-old will continue to compete in the Olympics because he will turn 41 at that time. He has said clearly what he wants to arise in the finals.

Speaking after the match, Djokovic expressed his happiness and said: “I’ve been waiting for this for almost 20 years. The first time that I managed to get past SF. I won’t stop here, I’ll go for the gold medal. I brought a medal to my country!”
