Machac And Siniakova Hug

After winning the gold medal in mixed doubles tennis for the Czech Republic at the 2024 Olympics on Friday night, Katerina Siniakova and Tomas Machac shared a hug and kiss before laughing about how private they were about their relationship.

In the match tiebreaker, Sinikova and Machac prevailed over Wang Xinyu and Zhang Zhizhen 6-2, 5-7, 10-8. In Olympic doubles, the customary third set is replaced by a first-to-10, win-by-two tiebreaker.

Social media users have been predicting the romantic status of the new champions, who were reportedly a couple but may not be one anymore. When a reporter asked, “Are you still together?” during the winning press conference, Machac rolled his eyes.

Siniakova said: “That’s our personal life, so you don’t need to know that. We like it when you are confused.”

Machac added: “This is top secret.”

At this point, Siniakova holds the only two tennis trophies for her nation from the Summer Games. Three years ago in the Tokyo Games, she and Barbora Krejcikova won the gold medal in women’s doubles. With nine Grand Slam titles to her name, Siniakova is an expert at doubles.
