There were happy feelings in the Roland Garros arena as Novak Djokovic faced Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarterfinals. The Serbian, who has been supporting his knee in his recent performances, easily outclassed his opponent, inspiring supporters to raise the Serbian flag high in the stands. But among those applauding for him, two special guests were also spotted having a moment of pure pride.
Her wife Jelena and son Stefan seemed the most proud among the joyful crowd dancing and cheering the Serbs’ victory.
Jelena- renowned for her steadfast support of the Serbinator’s career—was spotted proudly waving the Serbian flag. Djokovic produced a strong comeback to win the decisive set in a tiebreaker after a scare in the second set due to discomfort in his knee. He was able to collect himself.
Djokovic is working hard to win his first Olympic gold medal, but Jelena is also enchanting the city of lights with her charm.
