Few days ago the name of Tomas Berdych was mentioned in connection with the infamous “Panama Papers”. There were some question marks about that since Tomas Berdych is already resident in a “tax heaven” (Monte Carlo), so it sounded odd that the Czech no.1 would have used a company in Panama to hide his earnings.
Czech News Agency (CTK) apologized for having spread the news about Tomas’ implication “We apologize to Mr Tomas Berdych for having wrongly stated… his name was given in the Panama Papers database. The name of Mr Tomas Berdych cannot be found in the Panama Papers database,”
After the apology, Berdych tweeted “Truth prevails.”
