Bouchard to be coached by Saviano in Charleston

Genie Bouchard and Nick Saviano share a great history together. The Canadian beauty has been coached by Nick for 8 years before they parted ways a couple of years ago. Genie wasn’t able to perform at her very best since the split and in Charleston she will take advantage once more of Nick’s experience.

It’s is unclear if Genie has split from her current coach Hogstedt and if the “temporary partnership” with Saviano will blossom in something more stable.

Bouchard. I’m just taking it week by week

Genie commented “I’ve known Nick since I was 12 years old, and with Thomas not here this week, I asked him to help me,” she commented. “I’m just taking it week by week – actually, day by day.”

Genie is currently ranked no. 46. Last year she crashed out in the opener in Charleston (d. y Davis 6-3 6-1), she can only improve that.
