As the Princess of Wales entered the Royal Box at Wimbledon today, she was met with a standing ovation.
In the Grand Slam final, Carlos Alcaraz is up against seasoned Novak Djokovic in hopes of winning the trophy, which Kate will give this evening. Kate has stepped down from public royal duties while receiving cancer treatment.
The future queen made her second public appearance of the year to thunderous cheers, accompanied by her nine-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte and her sister Pippa Middleton.
However, the mother-daughter pair first had a meeting with female tennis player, Emma Radacanu, among others, who all gave Kate a bunch of flowers before they took their places in the Royal Box.
The mother and daughter then had a meeting with the ‘Work at Wimbledon’ program, which provides internship opportunities for young people from various backgrounds at the Championships.
