Roger Federer is a huge champion and a rather busy father. The world no.3 has two pairs of twins (Myla and Charlene, who are 6, and Leo and Lenny, who are almost 2) and life could be tricky with them around the world.
Federer. Why it’s tricky…
During a recent interview Roger explains why it’s tricky to bring his children on tour Everything needs a lot of patience and a capacity for anticipation. Lots of things are involved with our children. They are keen on sports. But they are also interested in other things. We have always to adapt to the place we are at. It’s wonderful because they can see so many things. On the other hand, it’s difficult to stick with the same routine. And it’s hard for them to play tennis at every event. After that we forget about kids’ tennis for several months. But it’s a pleasure to travel with them’.”
… Mirka is doing a great job
Then Roger spends nice words for his wife to say “My wife Mirka is doing an incredible job with the kids. And she helps me as much as she can. All of that, helps me to be relaxed on the court.”
