Alcaraz overcame an early deficit against Medvedev in the opening set to win the match 6-7 (1-7), 6-3, 6-4, 6-4. During the exciting match, Modric was seen in the Spanish box at Centre Court.

Alcaraz, who has been spotted at the Santiago Bernabeu for significant games and who himself is a Real Madrid supporter, had the honor of inviting Modric to attend the pivotal match as he attempts to win a fourth grand slam championship.

Alcaraz is a devoted football fan who couldn’t wait for Sunday’s final to end quickly so he can see Spain take on England in the Euro 2024 championship.

The tennis prodigy from Spain will next play either Novak Djokovic or Lorenzo Musetti on Sunday. He is only twenty-one years old, having already won three Grand Slam titles. He is aiming to be the ninth player in the Open era to win Wimbledon again.
