Regarding his upcoming match against Fritz, Zverev acknowledged their similarities as big servers and hitters but saw himself as a better mover and grinder. They have played each other before, and Zverev looked forward to the challenge, while also acknowledging that another opponent could pose a tough challenge as well. Zverev took a positive perspective on past close calls and focused on continuing to improve towards his goal of winning a Grand Slam title.

Alexander clinched 2 titles in 2024 in Australia and Rome. The German was the finalist at the French Open.
