Premier Padel goes to Genoa to take part in its second event in Italy following the Major in Rome. With the news that several wealthy couples are separating, the first week will be emotionally charged. It’s not like Bordeaux, where every pair is present.
The Genoa competition is a P2 event, meaning that the victors in the very competitive current ranking race will receive 500 ranking points. Quarterfinalists will receive 90 points, semifinalist 180 points, and winners 300 points.
This is the sixth P2 tournament of the Premier Padel season, and the final one before the summer break (with Malaga and Finland yet to come).
In contrast to Bordeaux, the men’s draw will feature Coello-Tapia, Chingotto-Galan, Lebron-Paquito, and Di Nenno-Stupa. Paquito-Lebron and “Superpibes” have both announced that they will no longer be touring together.
When Bea Gonzalez’s injury heals, it will be the big news in the women’s draw. The leading duo, Sanchez and Josemaria, will also be significant protagonists.
The draws are as follows.
