Coco Gauff has said that she is looking for a place of her own. Even though the current US Open champion accomplished a lot at a young age, she has lived with her parents, Corey and Candi, up to this point. But as she recently disclosed, things will most likely soon alter.
Gauff had an interview before her first-round match at the renowned grasscourt major this year. Gauff noted in the interview that although she has matured quickly as a result of her quick ascent to tennis superstardom at a young age, her parents have helped her at home maintain some of her youthful innocence.
Gauff expressed her thoughts about it and said: “I was definitely still able to be a kid. I probably matured faster than a lot of people, but I think my parents did a good job of trying to make it as relaxed as possible, set up an environment where I could still be a kid and surround me with people who respected that.”
She did, however, add that she will eventually leave her parents’ house. Gauff stated that she is currently searching for a place of her own, one that she believes won’t be too far from her parents’ residence.
She added: “Not for long though! I’ll still be in Delray, not far, just not at home. I’m in the process.”
