Captain Lleyton Hewitt tried to give support also on court against Team USA (The Bryans), but that didn’t work out.
Lleyton decided to come back from retirement to play the doubles with Peer against Mike and Bob Bryan. Eventually the Australians lost 6-3 6-3 4-6 4-6 6-3 after giving a big fight (“Hewitt way”).
Team Australia is now 1-2 down against the US. The last day will be difficult and Kyrgios is definitely missing… big time.
