Ivan Ljubicic, the former coach of Roger Federer, discussed the top Wimbledon favourites in an interview. Above all, the former coach examined the key Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, and Novak Djokovic moments as well as how they were getting to the London tournament.
The 45-year-old’s first considerations have been for Sinner, the new world champion and recent ATP 500 victor in Halle.
Ljubicic expressed his remarks about Sinner and said: “I think it’s a beautiful example for young people. Not that others are not but he has a particular way of doing things: he does not get excited when he wins and does not make a drama when he loses. He does his job; he does what he says and his greatest talent is to get to work.”
He added: “Jannik is like that; the character does not change him and he will continue like this and this will take him very high. How high? We’ll see. He just won his first Slam and now continues to win more tournaments. Wimbledon is now around the corner. Federer has won a lot after conquering Halle. Let’s see if it will be the turn of Sinner.”
