Andy Murray was once again too good for David Ferrer to beat the Spaniard 6-3 6-7(5) 6-2 6-3. Andy managed to break Ferrer in the first part of each set with the exception of the 2nd when he had to recover a 0-3 deficit (then he lost the set at the breaker). The match was filled with long rallies, but at the end it seemed that it could end only in favour of the world no.2 that had once again more weapones in his arsenal.
After this match, the Scot has now a winning streak of 7 matches against David. The difference with these 2 is clear: they have the same game, but Murray is better.

Murray. It was pretty brutal
Andy commented “It was a pretty brutal match. The start of the match wasn’t so good — a lot of unforced errors. But in the middle of the second set and the third set we both started to play long points. It was pretty physical. I held up pretty good, I think.”

The semis
Murray will play either Monfils or (most probably) Raonic in the semi.
