Djokovic demolishes Nadal to win Doha

If you think that Novak Djokovic cannot have a better year than his immense 2015… well, think again!

The world no.1 wins the title in Doha after demolishing Rafael Nadal 6-1 6-2 in the final. Nole was always at his very best during the match to constantly find an incredible depth with his strokes. Rafa did everything he could, but he had to bow in front of so much greatness after 73 of resistance.

Djokovic: I imposed my own tactical approach

Nole as elated for the title and for the performance to comment “It did feel as close to perfection as it can get. From the first to the last point I managed to impose my own tactical approach and strategy and what I have prepared myself for, and the conditions were played to my favour… There are those days when you see a tennis ball as a watermelon, and I guess this was that kind of day.”

This is Nole’s 60th career title. And interesting enough he has already improved on his 2015 (he was beaten in the quarters in Doha by Karlovic).
