I had great moments with Wawrinka. KYRGIOS

Nick Kyrgios is eager to improve his behavior (and his image!). The Australian has definitely hit a low point during last summer after sledging at Wawrinka and we were wondering when (and if) he would have “fixed” his relationship with the Swiss.

Kyrgios and Wawrinka’s path crossed at the recent IPTL edition as both played for the same team (the Singapore Slammers). Eventually the pair got a bit closer with Nick satisfied with their “new relationship”.

Nick commented “With Stan I had some beautiful moments in the IPTL, I have learnt a lot from him. What has happened it’s just in the part, during that moment the heat hit me”.

Kyrgios had also some shared his thoughts about being seeded in Melbourne ‘Being seeded at the Australian Open was not my goal. My goal is to improve in every season. Obviously in the Slams it’s always better being seeded, also because at the US Open I made my debut against Andy Murray, but it was not a drama. Playing at home is always special. In my career so far I have reached two quarter-finals at Slam level, one in Wimbledon and one in Melbourne The match against Seppi in the Hisense Arena was spectacular’.
