At 34 years of age Federer is still at the very top of tennis and according to Brad Gilbert, Roger will be able to beat Djokovic in 5 sets matches.
Why Ljubicic was hired…
Talking about the relationship between Federer and Ljubicic, Gilbert commented “These guys know each other, but it’s tough to imagine that Roger would have hired Ivan unless the coach had already presented a bunch of ideas and opinions to him.”

The Brad added “If you don’t think you can [improve your tennis], you won’t. He is a guy who really thinks he can still get better, and this is really amazing. He’s never satisfied, and this new relationship makes Roger believe he can beat Djokovic again in five sets matches. Hes going to look at things in a fresh way.”
