That was going to happen!
Nick Kyrgios and Stan Wawrinka had a rather strained relationship this year with the Swiss accusing Kyrgios not to give his best in their first encounter and the Australian sledging Stan and his girlfriend in their second match.
Things got so ugly that apparently Wawrinka became “physical” in the locker room and the entire world treated the Australian with (a well deserved) disdain.
Things are now put to bed (!) and it was unavoidable that sooner or later Nick and Stan’s path had to cross again. This will happen in the IPTL as Wawrinka (and Murray) kicked in to substitute a tired Djokovic to play for the Singapore Slammers (the same team as Kyrgios).
So…. are we going to see Wawrinka giving a high 5 to Nick… that would make headlines!
