It’s been literally raining, non-stop, since 12, it’s 3:30 now,” Zverev vented.
Zverev’s frustrations were understandable, given the slippery conditions that posed a risk of injury to players. Despite his complaints, there was little the organizers or umpire could do to mitigate the impact of the inclement weather.

Zverev’s defeat at the hands of Garin marks the end of his time in Munich, as he looks ahead to sunnier weather and better fortunes at the upcoming Madrid Open.
