Following her victory at the Miami Open, tennis icon Chris Evert recently encouraged Danielle Collins to think about her plans to take up her racket later in 2024.

Collins won her first major victory of her career after playing the finest match of her campaign, defeating fourth seed Elena Rybakina 7-5, 6-3.

Soon after, Evert went to X to congratulate the American player on her success. The 69-year-old also questioned Collins about her retirement plans, given that it appeared like she was a serious contender for additional major victories.
