Naomi Osaka has shown confidence in Novak Djokovic as her possible dance partner for the 2024 Miami Open.
After a dismal end to his Indian Wells campaign this year, Djokovic withdrew from the men’s singles draw of the Miami event, where he had originally been set to compete. On the other hand, Osaka defeated Elina Svitolina on Saturday to maintain her standing among the women contesting at the Miami Open.
The participant players joined Tennis Channel for a fun session during the Miami tournament, where they each selected a colleague to pair with for salsa dancing. Osaka chose Djokovic after apparently considering his track record in dance.
Osaka said: “Probably Djokovic because it seems like he would be a really good salsa dancer.”
