Following her victory in the Miami Open first round, Naomi Osaka hugged a crying fan. Additionally, Osaka signed one of her wristbands and gave it to the fan. Overcoming Elisabetta Cocciaretto, her first-round opponent, took Osaka one hour and eighteen minutes.

Osaka stated in her post-match interview that she felt the most relaxed she has felt all season long during the match against Cocciaretto. She expressed her thoughts about it and said: “Honestly, this is probably the only time that I was able to hit my balls, like, the closest to the feeling I want to capture going forward.”

Osaka spent time interacting with her supporters after her on-court interview. Osaka’s Barbie doll replica was being carried by one of them. At first, she offered the fan a quick hug and a high-five.

But as soon as Osaka started communicating with her fans, one began to cry. Osaka looked at the fan, who was crying. Osaka gave the fan her autographed wristband after opening it and giving it to that one.
