Berdych wins Stockholm for the 3rd consecutive time

Tomas Berdych has a love affair with Stockholm. The Czech has won 12 titles in his career and 3 of them come from Stockholm (2013, 2014 and 2015).

This year Tomas had to play Jack Sock in the final. The American had a great run in this tournament to beat Simon in the quarters and Gasquet in the semis and both in straight sets, so a tough battle was at the horizon.

Berdych had to come from behind in the final as he was broken in the 5^th game of the opener, but eventually Sock failed to serve out the set (5-4) and Tomas won the following breaker at 1. In the second set the American was broken a couple of times without ever troubling Tomas’ serve. The final result was 7-6 (1) 6-2. Match Stats.
