Coco Gauff has become the first American woman to qualify statistically for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, set for July 26–August 11.

Gauff has earned enough points to be included among the four women who are anticipated to compete in the singles event in Paris on behalf of the United States. Each country can only send four single athletes per gender to the games, with the United States predicted to secure four full spots for men and women.

Gauff is now the top-ranked American player on the women’s circuit, with Emma Navarro, Jessica Pegula, and Madison Keys behind.
