Serena Williams has lost a rather nasty semifinal against Roberta Vinci in the US Open final to dash her (high hopes) to win the Grand Slam. The world no.1 had to beat &just& 2 players that were not even in the top 20 (Vinci and Pennetta) to reach her dream, but eventually she failed.
Serena has been deeply affected by her loss to completely disappear soon after the semi and apparently she is unwilling to play againg in 2015 as she has lost most of hi motivation.

Patrick Mouratoglou (Serena’s coach) thinks that the American may not play anymore this year “When Serena lost in Toronto , she was very disappointed, but we went back to practice the morning after because she wanted to win the US Open.
“But after this year and the three grand slams, the question is how high her motivation is to play those tournaments. I don’t think she should play if the motivation is not really high.”
So no more tennis in 2015?
