Emma Raducanu made a grand entrance in 2021 when she won the US Open, shocking the tennis world. After the victory, her ambitions grew, and she earned international recognition. However, she hasn’t been able to perform up to expectations since her victory.
It appears that her victory has been overwhelmed by her injuries and bad results. However, there are a few tennis experts who believe Raducanu can make a great comeback.
Calvin Betton, a British tennis coach, expressed remarks about Raducanu and said: “She still does the same things. I don’t think any of her shots are any worse. It doesn’t get mentioned that when she did well at Wimbledon before the US Open when she went through qualis, she went in there having had quite a lot of matches in that summer and that year.”
Marion Bartoli shared her words about Raducanu and said: “A huge debrief has to be done with her team, assess what’s going on now that she has been able to play a few tournaments back to back, and come up with a plan because you can see some of the shots are still there.”
Mark Petchey, the former British No. 1, said: “She got off to a bit of a sluggish start but that was quickly reduced by some great returns from Emma. She is moving well. She’s probably one of the best athletes out there on the tour right now. She moves phenomenally well; I don’t think we talk about it enough. If the game is there, then the athleticism backs up. She is going to give everything to this sport. And ultimately, I believe she will be a multiple grand slam champion.”
