Federer’s fan back from coma after 11 years and he is shocked about Roger still playing a slam final

Jesus Aparicio had a rather nasty experience in December 2004 when he had a car accident that put him in coma. Luckily (very luckily) Jesus woke up after 11 years (now he is 29) and he had a lot to catch up after so much time. Jesus has always been a Federer’s fan and he couldn’t refrain from asking what happened to his tennis idol that was 23 at the moment of the accident and he was appalled for the fact that Roger is still able to compete in a slam final.

Jesus: I thought they were kidding me…

The 29-year-old commented “It came like a flash to my mind and I asked about Roger. I thought he had retired. When I knew that at 34-years, he is still playing and is number two in the world, I thought they were kidding me. When I heard that he reached 17 slam titles, I put my hands on my face.”

… Djokovic is also good

Since Jesus woke up the 29th of August he had the chance to see the final and he was amazed on how well Djokovic is playing now (Nole was 17 when Jesus had his accident) “I was really surprised to see him play well, Djokovic is good. I want to see his match before he retires, perhaps his 18th Slam.”

All the best to Jesus and we wish him all the best. Roger getting his major no.18 would give a little help…
