Nick Kyrgios is trying to recover from a rather rough year and according to the Australian it was good for him to be left out the Davis Cup semifinal.

Nick commented “I thought it was the best decision for me to give this one a miss. Obviously a lot had been going on and I thought there is no rush.
I feel we’ve got a lot of depth, we’ve got a lot of great players to go over there and represent our country. It’s a bit unfortunate I’m not playing, but at the same time it’s the best decision for my career at the moment.”
Nick will play the Malaysian Open in 1 week time.
