Gigio Donnarumma, PSG goalkeeper, followed Jannik Sinner’s Australian Open Final from the PSG training facility and posted his reaction to the tennis player’s victory on social media.
Sunday represented a significant achievement for Italy, as Sinner became the first Italian male tennis player in 48 years to win a Grand Slam title.
Many well-known Italian football players, including Donnarumma, watched the final match versus Daniil Medvedev live.
The 24-year-old observed the action from the PSG training center and quickly revealed his thoughts on Sinner’s win through his Instagram story.

Currently ranked no.4 (career-high), Sinner played his last match on the 28th of January when he overcame world no.3 Daniil Medvedev 3-6 3-6 6-4 6-4 6-3 in the final of the Australian Open to win his 12th career title.
During this season the Italian has achieved a 7-0 win-loss record. This year, Sinner won 1 title at the Australian Open.
Sinner is scheduled to compete next in Marseille (Open 13 Provence). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 5th of February.
