Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas is motivated to support the country’s young tennis players. When he tried to bring an ATP tournament to Greece in the past, the tennis star caused much controversy. He made an effort to accomplish this by utilizing his status as a well-liked budding tennis star. Following his match in the United Cup 2024, Tsitsipas expressed great optimism for his tennis aspirations in Greece.

After his quarterfinal loss, Tsitsipas said he wanted to help Greece reach greater heights in professional tennis. During the United Cup 2024, he mentioned the strong relationship that exists between the Greek fans and the team. He also mentioned the great advantage that the players have in having such a supportive nation.

Tsitsipas expressed his thoughts in a recent interview and said: “I am always willing to help new players, especially from our country. I had the opportunity to mentor Stefanos (Sakellaridis) here in Sydney for a few days. I have been in situations that not many Greek tennis players have been in before, and I want to continue this legacy to promote the sport in my way.”

Though he acknowledges his accomplishments, he is unwilling to ignore the future of his country. He added: “I want to be there for the new generations when they need to climb the ladder and keep dreaming to reach where I have reached. There should be support because it doesn’t happen that way. I have a plan, which I want to implement in a few years. I don’t expect anything from the federation; they won’t be responsible for it. It’s a personal matter and something I want to create in the next few years. I won’t; I can’t say exactly what, but I have it in my mind, and I have discussed it with my team as well.”
