According to Cameron Norrie, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer aren’t nearly as strong opponents as Novak Djokovic.

Every one of the ‘Big Three’ has had the chance to face Norrie. In all four of their top matchups, he lost to Djokovic, including their most recent match at the 2023 Davis Cup, where he was defeated in a straight set.

The British player has a 4-1 head-to-head record against Nadal, but he won their most recent match at the 2023 United Cup. His only matchup at the tour level with Federer ended in a loss.

In an interview, Norrie stated that the 24-time Grand Slam champion presented the biggest obstacle for him, outclassing both Federer and Nadal as the most formidable opponents he has ever encountered.

Norrie expressed his thoughts about Djokovic and said: “Djokovic was at the highest level of the three. It was the toughest match-up for me. But Novak has taken his game to the next level in the last few years and that is proved by the titles he has won.”
